Valerie

Valerie is a sweet, kind young Thoroughbred mare in the care of Habitat For Horses in Alvin, Texas. A former racehorse with 6 starts, she is sound and ready to begin her second career. She has excellent ground manners, lunges well, and readily accepts tack. She has not yet been restarted under saddle, so she is looking for an adopter who can bring her along - and she is famously people-oriented, walking up to visitors in her pasture to ask for pets. ADOPTION DETAILS - Valerie is available for adoption through Habitat For Horses; she is not for sale. The adoption decision rests entirely with Habitat For Horses and their adoption criteria apply, including additional screening for Thoroughbred adopters, who are asked to document prior experience managing and caring for Thoroughbreds.
