How do I search for horses on Bridleway?
Use the search filters on the left to narrow results by breed, discipline, price range, age, height, gender, and location. You can also switch between direct seller listings, auction house listings, and demo listings using the tabs above.
What is the difference between direct and auction listings?
Direct listings are posted by individual sellers on Bridleway, while auction listings are aggregated from partner US auction houses (currently Billings Livestock). Both types are browsable on our platform, but auction horses are purchased through their respective auction houses.
How do I contact a seller about a horse?
Click on any listing to view full details, then use the "Contact Seller" button to send a message through our secure messaging system. You must be signed in to contact sellers.
Is there buyer protection when purchasing a horse?
Yes. Bridleway offers an optional escrow service — a flat $59.99, and free on rescue listings — that holds your funds securely through a 7-day inspection window. Your funds are released to the seller only after you complete a pre-purchase veterinary exam, the inspection passes, and you confirm the horse.
Can I save horses to view later?
Yes. Sign in and click the heart icon on any listing to add it to your favorites. You can view all saved horses from your dashboard.
